We are proud of how our staff have responded to the challenges of the pandemic, but we recognise that there are services which have been impacted.

When our Resident Scrutiny Panel carried out a review of our performance, they concluded that our standards have been met as best as they could be. They identified areas for improvement around complaints handling, keeping you safe and tackling the higher numbers of antisocial behaviour and domestic abuse cases.

In July 2020, more than 800 residents took part in a survey about the impact of coronavirus and our future plans. Thank you to everyone who took part. Your feedback has helped us to plan ahead and to get in touch with those of you who asked for support with finances or getting connected.

If you did not take part in the survey, your feedback is always valued. Please contact us to give your views on how we have performed.

The full survey results summary is available on our website.

In March 2021, our Board agreed a new corporate plan which sets our priorities and key projects for 2021-25. Our key projects include:

Delivering our renewal plans, while continuing to prepare for the future

Delivering community and staff initiatives to promote wellbeing and mental health awareness

Completing our governance effectiveness review

Getting to know our residents better so we can improve our services including reviewing our service standards, reviewing our operating model and increasing the number of lettings we can make to Phoenix transfer applicants when one home becomes empty

Delivering the next steps in our digital journey

Enhancing our approach to resident safety through a new strategy and programme board

Building 200 new homes

Delivering our Sustainability Strategy to help us achieve net zero carbon emissions by 2050

Delivering our works programmes including environmental improvements, fencing, fire safety and building safety

Completing our review of The Green Man and community centres to maximise the benefits to our community

What happens next ?

You decide! We’ve outlined our plans and ambitions for the future, but residents are the key pieces in the Phoenix jigsaw.

There are opportunities to get involved at every level of Phoenix. If you’d like to find our more and help to shape and define our future, we would love to hear from you.
