What are you most proud of in our community?

“Our neighbours are helpful, we’ve been looking after each other through lockdown. We check in on each other and make sure everyone is well and that’s been nice to see.”

Stella Enoe

Stella Enoe, a Phoenix resident, describes lockdown as many of us would: “scary”. And Stella, like many of us, has been inspired by the kindness people in our community have shown one another.

Stella is the beneficiary of a small grant from our Community Chest. That means that, once it is safe to do so, Stella and her ‘Super Senior Singers’ choir will be joining other community projects and groups in south Lewisham to bring a little bit of joy and colour to residents.
